Our School Nursing Service provides support for all schoolchildren in mainstream education. We focus on child health issues, maintaining standards of care delivery and the implementation of Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC). We also deliver universal screening for height and weight measurements in Primary One and Primary Seven.
We receive referrals either directly from parents, young people themselves, education services or your GP.
If you or your family need additional support to protect and support your child or help them to achieve their potential, we will work with you and other agencies to plan appropriate and targeted care.
We receive referrals from your GP or your child's school.
