Carron O'Byrne Appointed as Interim Chief Officer

Carron O'Byrne has been appointed as Interim Chief Officer of Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), subject to formal ratification by IJB Members at its next meeting in March.

She will take up post in early March. The post is initially for a period of six months and will be followed by a recruitment process. Carron has held her current role as Head of Health and Social Care for the HSCP since February 2019.

Carron has worked in the health and social care field for more than 35 years, holding several key management roles throughout this time.

On accepting the role, Carron said she was fully committed to building upon the excellent work that has already been achieved.

She said: "I am delighted to be appointed as Interim Chief Officer for Renfrewshire's HSCP. Since joining Renfrewshire in 2019, I have been inspired by the commitment and compassion of all our staff. A key focus for me is ensuring we continue to deliver our services to the highest possible standard for the people of Renfrewshire."
