Christine Laverty has been appointed as Chief Officer of Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) and will take up post on Monday 25 April. Christine was appointed as Interim Chief Officer in June last year and has expertly led Renfrewshire HSCP through the coronavirus pandemic.

Be a lifesaver, carry Naloxone This week marks the start of Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service annual Naloxone November campaign. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of Naloxone and how it can save lives. Naloxone is a safe, effective intervention which can help reduce the number of fatal overdoses in our communities. By distributing Naloxone kits widely, we can help grow Renfrewshire's community of potential lifesavers.
October 4-10 is Challenge Poverty Week 2021 and in Renfrewshire we're working together to ensure that benefits and money advice for people in vulnerable situations is the very best it can be. Individuals and families also have increasing concerns about debts and new benefits and grants they may be entitled to but do not know how to access them. Or they may not even be aware of them. We have provided information on local services that provide support.
