What Services Do We Offer?
We provide a range of routine treatments, including:
- Wound Care: General wound management and post-surgery checks
- Leg Care: Compression bandaging, leg ulcer care, and Doppler tests
- Suture/Staple Removal: Removal of stitches or staples after surgery or minor injuries
- Injections: Administration of routine injections
- Ear Care: Safe and effective ear irrigation
How to Access Our Services
Self-Referral
You can refer yourself directly to the CTAC Service if you think it meets your needs.
Referral by Healthcare Professionals
- GP: Your doctor may refer you for appropriate care.
- Practice Nurse: Nurses at your GP practice may recommend CTAC for extra support.
- District Nurse: If you're no longer housebound, a district nurse can refer you for additional care.
- Hospital: Recently discharged? Your hospital team may refer you for follow-up treatments.
Once referred, your GP practice will stay informed to ensure your care is well-coordinated and consistent.
